Please read the following to make sure that the River Rescue DVD is compatible with your DVD player specifications:

Region Coding

Many DVDs are manufactured for sale within a specific country or territory. This DVD is “all-region”. Therefore, your DVD player should be “Region-Free”, which they normally are.

PAL/NTSC Formatting

This DVD is PAL format , which is the standard format in Europe and in most countries of the world(1) , except e.g. North America, Japan, Korea, the Philippines and parts of South America, which use NTSC format(2).

In the USA many TVs and DVD players cannot display a PAL signal properly. Therefore, before purchasing the River Rescue DVD, you need to check the specifications of your DVD player and make sure that the signal system includes PAL. The DVD players in modern computers/laptops normally can play PAL.

Most projectors and plasma displays can display a PAL signal. If you know that your display is capable of displaying a PAL signal, you still need to make sure that your DVD player can play PAL formatted DVDs.

If you have a problem with compatibility, please contact your local video service firm and check if they can do the conversion to your system.
